This hawk was brought in today after being struck by a moving car in a snowstorm. The dedicated animal lovers that witnessed it collected the hawk from a ditch and braved a 30mile drive in a snowstorm to bring him here to Dr. Dolittle's House Wildlife Center. I will care for him until the storm passes and then I will transfer him to Medina Rapture Center for further treatment.
The animal is bright and alert with movement in both wings, but the legs and feet have no mobility. Xray's will show more, we just have to hunker down for now and make it thru the storm.
